The classic house sound that comes from Rico Herrera’s filtered keyboards combines with funky basslines and choppy guitar chords to form an exciting release from the well-respected producer. ‘Datz Koreas’ comes from his upcoming (dropping on November 16^th 2018) Uno EP, and is filled with strict, rhythmic percussion that allows the heavily-syncopated piano and synth lines their own freedom, while melodic brass provides an understated melody throughout. Despite the fact he is "known for his hip hop production for Italian and American artists since the early '90s, and for his involvement with the turntables collective 'I Maniaci Dei Dischi’", Herrera has proved his ability to turn out an unexpectedly excellent house tune. -Dan Peeke
